As you may know, there’s something new in the world of California codes – the cycles for changes to the energy code and the building codes are now in synch. As a result, there’s more to learn between now and January, when the latest changes become mandatory.

Changes to CALGreen, California’s mandatory green building code, will be published in July, as will changes in state accessibility codes that bring California standards into alignment with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

These are all complicated topics that your company will not be up to speed on, unless you act to educate your staff.  Luckily the Building Standards Commission is here to help you prepare and are sponsoring seminars throughout the state.

These professional training sessions give you the chance to hear directly from those involved in the development of these codes  – and to ask any questions you might have about their future evolution.

Two Sacramento Seminars are quickly filling up. Don’t be caught “unaware” the next time you move forward with a Tenant Improvement.  Click here for more information and to register.
